Step-by-step

Get set up in under 10 minutes.

Pick your platform below. Both setups are subscription-based — cancel any time from your Stripe portal and access is revoked at the end of the billing period.

Step 1

Open an MT5 account with any supported broker

We test on Pepperstone Razor (UK) but any regulated broker that offers MetaTrader 5 works. Pepperstone, IC Markets, FP Markets, Vantage, and OANDA are all confirmed compatible.

  • Live or demo — the EA runs on both
  • GBP, USD, or EUR base currency all fine
  • Standard, Razor, or Pro account types all supported
Step 2

Subscribe to a champion EA

Pick a champion from the storefront and start your monthly subscription via Stripe. You'll get instant email delivery of the .ex5 file plus your unique license key.

  • Monthly rolling — cancel any time
  • Access revoked at end of billing period if you cancel
  • One subscription = one MT5 account number
Step 3

Drop the .ex5 file into MetaTrader 5

In MT5, open File → Open Data Folder → MQL5 → Experts. Copy the .ex5 file we emailed you into that folder. Restart MT5 (or right-click Expert Advisors in the Navigator and hit Refresh).

  • Folder path is normally: %APPDATA%\MetaQuotes\Terminal\<hash>\MQL5\Experts\
  • The EA will appear in the Navigator panel under Expert Advisors
  • License key goes into the EA's input parameters (step 5)
Step 4

Attach the EA to the correct chart

Open the exact symbol + timeframe the champion was trained on (shown on the storefront listing — usually EURUSD M15 or XAUUSD M15). Drag the EA from the Navigator onto that chart.

  • Symbol + timeframe MUST match the listing — champions overfit to their trained pair
  • You can attach the same EA to multiple accounts as long as each has its own subscription
Step 5

Paste your license key + turn AutoTrading on

In the EA's Inputs tab, paste your license key next to LicenseKey. Leave every other parameter at its default (they're optimised for you). Click OK, then click the AutoTrading button in the top toolbar so it goes green.

  • The EA phones home once on start-up to verify your subscription
  • If AutoTrading is red, no trades will be placed — this is MT5's kill-switch
  • Trades appear in the Terminal → Trade tab within minutes if a signal fires
Step 6

You're done — monitor from anywhere

Your MT5 terminal must stay running (or use a VPS) for the EA to trade. Track performance via our dashboard, your MT5 journal, or your broker's app.

  • Consider a £5/month Windows VPS if you want 24/7 uptime
  • We publish a monthly performance report per champion
  • Pause anytime by disabling the EA — resume by re-enabling
